Life Legacy
Walter E. Carter, age 72, passed away Thursday May 10, 2012 at his home in Hebron, Ohio, surrounded by his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine. Survived by long time companion, Shirley Wisdom; daughters, Christine Gall (Steve), Kathleen Goodall (Ed),Annette Kazlausky (Jim), Teresa Golden (Bryan); 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Stevenson; sisters-in-law, Eileen Woodward and Carol Wurdack. Several nieces and nephews. Many, many life long friends. He was known as “Uncle Walt” to many. Member of The Brothers Club, VFW Post 1388, Amvets 0051, Mens Thursday Night Golf League (Homestead Springs). Walt had a true passion for Buckeye Lake and loved everything about it. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Tuesday at St. Mary Church, 672 S. Third St., German Village. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd. SE, Newark, OH 43055.
